River Clean-Up and Cyanotype Workshop

  • Brattleboro Museum and Art Center 10 Vernon Street Brattleboro, VT, 05301 United States (map)

We’ll use the items we collect along the river to create camera-less photographic images known as cyanotypes. This magical and simple technique, developed in 1842, requires only three materials: an object, light-sensitive paper, and the ultraviolet rays of the sun. The result? Striking blue-and-white prints.
